How do I talk to a parent about puberty without dying of cringe?

I want help (like deodorant/bras/skin) but I feel embarrassed.

Try a low-pressure approach: text them, leave a note, or start with one practical request: “Can we buy deodorant?” or “I need a bra fitting.” You can also use a “third thing” (article/video) to start the chat: “I read this—can we talk?” Parents often feel relieved you asked.
