I feel fine, then suddenly angry or sad. What helps in the moment?

Mood swings can happen with hormones + stress. In the moment: pause, slow breathing (in 4, out 6), step away, drink water, name the feeling (“I’m overwhelmed”), and do a 5-minute reset (walk, shower, music). If mood swings are frequent, intense, or you feel unsafe, reach out to a trusted adult or professional support.
